Mars Hill – Helene “Gerry” Miller, 77, died March 26, 2007 at a Houlton hospital. She was born May 1, 1929 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Russell and Eunice (Craig) Paget.
She retired from the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill after over 25 years of service as a CNA. She was a member of the United Baptist Church in Mars Hill, the Orange Lodge in Easton and the Women’s Afternoon Bowling League in Presque Isle.
Surviving her is her husband Keith “Bucky” Miller of Mars Hill; sons Edward J. Miller of Corinth, Russell E. Miller and his wife Linda of Chaptico, Maryland and a daughter Sharon A. Duncan and her husband Dirk of Presque Isle; a sister Audrey Fletcher and her husband Merle of Zephyrhills, FL; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceas-ing her besides her parents was a sister Doris Foster.
Funeral services were conducted 2:00 PM Thursday at the Duncan Funeral Home in Mars Hill with Pastor Lawrence Beals officiating. Relatives and friends called at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
