Athlete of the Week
The Varsity Club and Big Cheese Pizza are pleased to congratulate Logan York for being selected as the Athlete of the Week for the week of April 2-7.
Logan’s hard work, leadership and guidance of the younger players have been key components to the varsity baseball team’s spring workouts.
There were no female nominations.

Ski pond hockey rescheduled
Due to the weather, the Ski Pond Hockey Tournament scheduled for April 14 was postponed until April 21. The event will be taking place at Madawaska Lake, and participants are asked to meet at Stan’s. The event will run from 8-11 a.m.
Registration is by team, with four people per team allowed on the “ice” at one time. The entry fee is $20 per team, which will help cover the costs of keeping the trails open for the Snowy Mountain Trails Club. All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate.
Non-alcoholic drinks are provided and grills will be available, although participants need to bring their own for preparation. If any participants have floor hockey sticks, they are encouraged to bring them.
