MAPLETON, Maine – The 2007 Little Miss Mapleton Pageant will be held Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m. in the Mapleton Elementary School cafeteria. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Mistress of Ceremonies for the pageant will be Patti Crooks-Parsons.
The eight contestants vying for this year’s title are:
• Gabriella Donovan is the 8-year-old daughter of Darren and Maranda Donovan. The first vocalist of the afternoon, Gabriella will be singing, “Part of Your World” for her talent. Escorting Gabriella will be 9-year-old Nicholas Newell. He is the son of Dale and Kim Newell.
• Abigayle Clark is the 9-year-old daughter of Michael and Sharmon Clark. She will be singing, “The Cross Crosses Out My Sin” for her talent selection. Her escort for the afternoon will be Matthew McKenna, the 9-year-old son of Mark and Lisa McKenna.
• Lacy Condon is the 7-year-old daughter of Richard and Tammy Getchell and Troy and Bobbi Jo Condon. Lacy plans to present a Presidential Monologue during the talent portion of the pageant. She will be escorted by 6-year-old Jesse Wortman. He is the son of the Rev. Roland and Tammy Wortman.
• Elizabeth Collins is the 6-year-old daughter of Darren and Michelle Collins. Elizabeth, one of five vocalists in the group, will be singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” Hunter Flynn will be Elizabeth’s escort. He is the 7-year-old son of Robert and Jennifer Flynn.
• Madison Walton is the 7-year-old daughter of Heather Walton and Adam Walton. She will be performing a dance routine to “Hey, Mickey.” Madison will be escorted by 8-year-old Justis McKenney, the son of Jay and Renee McKenney.
• Emma Langille is the 9-year-old daughter of Carroll and Jennifer Langille. She will be performing a jazz dance routine to “Hung Up” for her talent selection. Matthew Burtt will be Emma’s escort. He is the 9-year-old son of Matthew and Kelly Burtt.
• Hillary Hartsgrove is the 9-year-old daughter of Diana Doody and Chris and Liz Hartsgrove. She will be singing “Who Said.” James Churchill will be escorting Hillary. He is the 9-year-old son of Jim and Cathy Churchill.
• Grace Braley is the 9-year-old daughter of Glendon and Anne Braley. Grace plans to sing “Ellis Island” for her talent. Austin Thibeau will be her escort. He is the 10-year-old son of Kirk and Cheryl Thibeau.
Admission for the afternoon pageant is $5. Tickets may be purchased from any of the contestants or at the door.
