Visits
Clair and Eldora Carter returned home Monday after spending nearly two weeks in Saco, house and dog sitting for their son, Wendell. While there they also had a lot of work fighting flooding of the basement during and after the bad storm that struck that region. Wendell, wife, Doreen, and son, Kyle, spent a week on a cruise with Doreen’s family, brothers, sisters-in-law, sister, mother and two aunts. Doreen’s mother took them all on this cruise. While in the area, Eldora and Clair were treated to a restaurant dinner by son, Mike, and wife, Beth, of Portland, and at another time by Dana and his family, of Scarborough. Dana also held a birthday supper for his mother-in-law, Gloria Watson, and also included his father for a belated birthday. On the way to Saco the Carters enjoyed supper with Eldora’s brother, Darrell Porter and wife, Norma.
