Canterbury Royale featured on MPBN’s “Made in Maine”

FORT FAIRFIELD – After months of excitement and anticipation, on April 19 and 20 Maine Public Broadcasting Network came to Aroostook County for a visit with Canterbury Royale Gourmet Dining Room in Fort Fairfield to film a segment for the upcoming show airing on Thursday, May 17, at 8:30 p.m.
This will be another great achievement for Canterbury Royale who, in 2006, was chosen Editor’s Choice  in Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide and a feature article in the Bangor Daily News by ‘Shopgirl,’ Kristen Andresen.
Lou McNally has been the host of “Made in Maine” since this series began in 1988. He’s had the opportunity to visit many Maine businesses and enjoys bringing the viewer inside to see what makes each business so unique.
He was nominated for Small Business Journalist of the Year in 2000 and has received three New England Emmy Awards for Outstanding Host.
Videographer Ben Speed is a master at his craft.
Speed’s experience and quiet nature brought a sense of calm as he set the mood and stage for the upcoming feature on “Made in Maine.”
Since its opening in October of 2004, Canterbury Royale has expanded with an addition to their main dining room called the Niche Au Deux, Niche for Two.
This new room was designed especially for two,  whether you are out for a night of romance, celebrating a birthday, anniversary or a private business meeting.
This room – with a glowing fire, sparkling chandelier, statues of Venus and David, wood carvings and aromas from the kitchen – nestles you in for a wonderful evening of entertainment.
Canterbury Royale is a private dining room that accommodates from two up to 16 patrons.
We are a private, high-end, unique experience that should not be missed for the ultimate in culinary cuisine, hospitality and atmosphere, with every sense being fulfilled.
