WASHBURN, Maine – Despite the lack of snow, snowmobilers will gather this weekend at the Trail Runners clubhouse to raise funds and reminisce about AMHC’s Sexual Assault Services’ annual snowmobile ride, held Feb. 10 this year.
“A beef stew dinner will be held on May 5 starting at 6 p.m. We’ll also be watching a DVD highlighting the 2007 Andy Santerre Sno-Run that took place earlier this year,” said event organizer Joe Chamberlain.
The cost for the 2007 Sno-Run Review and Beef Stew Dinner is $9 per person. Funds raised will be used to support AMHC’s Sexual Assault Services in Aroostook County. The Sno-Run DVD will be available to purchase for $12.95.
The event is designed to give those who had the opportunity to take part a chance to reminisce.
And for those who couldn’t be a part of it, “The DVD shows them the fun they missed,” said Chamberlain.
Admission to the evening is by advanced ticket purchase only, due to limited seating. The first 80 RSVPs who pay the $9 fee receive the 80 reserved seats. No tickets will be sold at the door.
To purchase tickets or if you cannot attend the event but would like to purchase the DVD, contact AMHC at 498-6431 or pwyman@amhc.org.
