Raymond, Brian R., 54, of Mapleton died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Presque Isle. Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the funeral home. MAPLETON – Brian R. Raymond 54, died Saturday morning June 30, 2007 at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born in Presque Isle on Nov. 2, 1952, the son of Robert and Lois (Dean) Raymond.
Brian retired from Columbia Forest Products in Presque Isle after 30 years due to a chronic illness. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Brian loved to fish and hunt, and truly enjoyed the outdoors. He collected model trains and enjoyed setting them up and seeing them run.
He is survived by his wife Dianne (Pelletier) Raymond of Mapleton, a son Leo Brian Raymond and his wife Jennifer of Fort Fairfield, a daughter Eve Bull and her husband Lawrence of Ellsworth, his mother Lois Cobb and her husband John of Ashland, three brothers and their wives; Paul and Ada Raymond of Masardis, Alan and Terry Raymond of Chapman, Donald and Sandra Raymond of Mapleton. A sister Karen Raymond of Chapman, 4 grandchildren; Christian and Joshua, Trevor and Chantz, an Uncle and Aunt Elwood and Dorothy Dean of Calif. a father in law and mother in law Bert and Lorette Pelletier of Fort Fairfield, a sister in law Brenda Hartley of Caribou, several nieces and nephews, and several cousins. He was predeceased by his dad , Robert Raymond.
A memorial service will be held 2PM Thursday July 5, 2007 at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home 30 Church St. Presque Isle with the Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. Relatives and friends may call 1PM until time of service. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the reception room at the funeral home.
