Rose Marie Angela Lovely

LOVELY, Rose Marie A., 91, of Presque Isle died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Presque Isle. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.     PRESQUE ISLE – Rose Marie Angela (LaChance) Lovely, 91, died Wednesday morning, June 27, 2007 at a Presque health care facility. She was born Nov. 13, 1915 in Frenchville, the daughter of Denis and Meddie (Chasse) LaChance.
    She married Ransford Lovely on May 27, 1936 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle. They were married 69 years, Ransford died in 2004.
    Rose is survived by six children, Janet Milian of Garden City, Mich., Ronald G. Lovely and special friend Lou Manca of Gardner, MA., Doreen G. Washington of Plymouth, Mich., Ernest R. Lovely Sr. and his wife Patricia of Presque Isle, Sandra J. Pelz and her husband Edward Jr. of Martin, Ohio, and Ransford S. Lovely Jr. of Berlin, NH., a sister Marie Blanche Larrive of New Bedford, Mass., who is 102 years old (Rose went to New Bedford, Mass. to help celebrate Aunt Blanche’s 100th birthday, which was a gathering of over sixty people); many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and five sisters, Leona Kennedy, Gertrude LaChance, Cora Peed, Ernestine Ouellette, and Cloe Bouchard.
    The family would like to thank all her friends and new family from Leisure Gardens, special caregivers from the P.I. hospital, all the various nursing facilities in the area for all the support during her illness. A special thank you to Dr. Jones, all the doctors and nurses at TAMC, social services nurses and staff at the Presque Isle nursing home for the years of special care given to Mom.
    Graveside services were held 3PM Friday June 29, 2007 at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle with the Rev. Raymond Morency officiating.
