Brown, John, 55, of Aroostook County. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 26, at 7:00 pm at the Congregational Church on Church Street in Presque Isle.     AROOSTOOK COUNTY  – A memorial service for John Brown will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 7:00 PM at the Congregational Church on Church Street in Presque Isle.
    John Brown, 55, died at Maine Medical Center, Portland, following a heart attack. He was a resident of Aroostook County for 18 years.
    John was a past president and member of the Northern Maine Board of Softball Umpires, a member of the Northern Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires and a former member of the Maine Wrestling Officials Association. He was the director and head coach of the National Football League Junior Player Development Program and president of Northern Maine Sports, Inc. that held football camps in Presque Isle, Caribou, Houlton and Madawaska/Fort Kent areas. John was a former member of the Presque Isle Rotary Club.
