Fat Tire Festival planned at Nordic Heritage Center
Nordic Heritage Sports Center will hold a Fat Tire Festival at the facility on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21 and 22.    Friday night’s activities will include a Mountain Bike Biathlon, pasta dinner and bonfire.
Saturday will feature mountain bike races (cross-country and downhill) and a barbecue. Both days will include kids races and fun activities for the entire family.
Come see how fun mountain biking is here in the County and what biathlon is all about.

Archery Safety Course offered at fish and game club
An Archery Safety Course will be offered from 6-9 p.m. on Sept. 6-7 and finishing on Sept. 9 at the Presque Isle Fish and Game Club.
The class is sponsored by Uncle Buck’s Archery and the instructor will be Glenn Daigle.         Students who are ages 10-12 must be accompanied through the full program by a parent or guardian. Class limit is 40 students.
