What’s happening at the Patten Rec?

    The Patten Recreation Department has announced its September and October schedule.
    Elementary School Programs (grades DK-5): There will be crafts from 2:30-3:30 p.m. each Monday, starting on Oct. 15. Cost is $2 per child. If a child would like a drink, send an extra $1.     There will be open gym from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on the following Fridays: Sept. 21 and Sept. 28. Cost is $2 per child. There are snacks available, chips are 30 cents and a drink is $1.
    Pre-School Programs: Each Tuesday will be open gym from 9:45-11 a.m. for children up to age four. Cost is $2 per child per week. A snack will be served.    
    Adult Programs: There will be walking in the mornings at 9 a.m. Cost is $7, which is based upon an eight-week session, and is payable at the beginning of the session.
    Women’s Basketball will be starting in October. Anyone interested should call the recreation department and leave a message. Staff will contact players with the exact date the program will start.
    Country Music: Country music is played from 6-9 p.m. each Saturday through the month. Check signs at Ellis Family Market and Debbie’s Deli.
