UMPI golfers place sixth

   University of Maine at Presque Isle golfers competed in a unique scoring format this weekend at Colby College.  Instead of five golfers playing a round and taking the top 4 scores, the Owls split three ways into teams of two.  Each individual team shot against each other.  
     UMPI finished sixth with a score of 288.  Owls Eric Van Wiechen and Adam Bickford led the UMPI golfers carding a combined 90.
