BRISTOL – Robert B. Braddock, 69, of Bristol, died on Friday, September 28, 2007 at home. Mr. Braddock was born in Washburn, ME on July 21, 1938 and was a son of the late James T. Braddock Sr. and Elizabeth Marie (Hunter) Braddock.
He was a longtime Bristol resident and formerly lived in Harwinton for 20 years before recently returning to Bristol. He was a Korean War veteran and served in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He retired from the Morin Corporation of Bristol. Robert was loved by his family, was happy-go-lucky all his life, and liked to tell jokes.
Robert is survived by a son, Kevin Braddock of Harwinton, who he loved dearly; his son’s mother, Karen Braddock; nine brothers, Lester Braddock of South Windsor, Paul, Gary, Dennis Braddock of Bristol, Roger Braddock of Simsbury, Gladen Braddock of Ellington, Steven Braddock of Harwinton, and twins David Braddock of Bristol and Donald Braddock of Potsdam, NY; three sisters, Wilma Keene of Morris, Joyce Meagher of Naugatuck, and Paula Plissey of Washburn, ME; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, James T. Braddock Jr. and Kent Braddock and a sister, Barbara Baranauskas.
