PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 18th annual Holiday Light Parade Saturday, Dec. 1 starting at 7 p.m. Once again this year, the parade route will begin on North Street with line-up beginning at 5:30 p.m., and head south toward the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Judging will begin at 6:15 p.m., and trophies will be awarded before the parade begins.     Parents, please be advised that children need to maintain a safe distance from vehicles and floats in the parade. We appreciate your cooperation.
There will be NO throwing of candy allowed!! If you wish to give out candy, we would ask that you have walkers handing the candy out to the children.
Over the years, this parade has gained enormous popularity with area merchants and the thousands of spectators. The numbers grow each and every year.
To register a float for this year’s 18th annual Holiday Light Parade, please contact the P.I. Chamber office at 764-6561.
