Kerry Ewing and Mark Spooner were married Saturday, June 23, at the Montezuma Methodist Church with Pastor Jo officiating. Parents of the couple are Mark and Marla Ewing of Montezuma and Mike Spooner and the late Deborah Spooner of Phoenix, Ariz.
The bride wore a strapless satin gown and carried a bouquet of red roses. The matron of honor was April Klein, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katy and Kelly Ewing, sisters of the bride. They wore red satin and carried white roses. Best man was Adam Nowatny, friend of the groom; groomsmen were Shawn Thompson and Brad Sincox. Flower girl was Desirae Jackson, and ring bearer was Travis Lewis. Ushers were Jason Grandstaff and Mike Pargeon.
Reception, dinner and dance were held at the Montezuma Memorial Hall. The wedding party was chauffeured to the reception by Michael Ewing, uncle of the bride on the decorated flat bed of his 1930 truck. Mike and Gretchen Pargeon hosted the reception.
Grandparents of the couple are Earl and Betty Johnson, and Carl and Pauline Ewing of Montezuma and Ralph and Dawn Bubar of Linneus and Rusty and Gladys Spooner of Houlton.
