On Saturday Oct. 27, the Bridgewater Historical Association will hold its annual Harvest Supper at their hall on Main St. in Bridgewater. The main entrée for the evening will be spiral cut ham. There will also be baked potato, corn, carrots, breads, assorted desserts, and other items on the menu. The dinner  is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. The supper is $7 for adults and $3 for children under ten. Immediately following the supper, guests will be treated to live music for their dancing and listening pleasure. We look forward to seeing you there.
There will also be a costume contest for adults at the dance. Door prizes will be given out throughout the event. A 4-foot Norfolk Pine will be auctioned off at the supper. Proceeds from the tree auction will go towards the new PA system for the hall.
The BHA would also like to make the unfortunate announcement that their music program will close for the year due to the onset of cooler temperatures. The BHA will continue to raise money for the PA system during the off-season. Hopefully by the spring we will have enough money raised to buy what is needed. Anyone wishing to make a donation towards the PA please contact Denis Gagne or Jann Votaw or send a check to the BHA: Bridgewater Historical Association, PO BOX 341, Bridgewater, ME, 04735.
For any questions contact Denis Gagne at 429-8290 or Jann Votaw at 425-7901. Once again we offer our sincerest thanks to those of you who have given us your support. It is greatly appreciated.
