Mrs. Kim McLaughlin, Mrs. Myron Sprauge and Miss Wannetta Townsend recently attended a Home & Garden Party hosted by Mrs. Karen Buchalla at the home of Mrs. Elaine Crandall.
A Halloween Party will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Oakfield Community Center. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; the event will include finger foods, music and a $25 ticket draw. Attendees should wear a costume.
On Saturday, Oct. 13 there was a good turn out for a benefit supper and auction for McKenzie Moro at the Smoki-Haulers Snow Club in Oakfield.
On Saturday, Oct. 6, Mrs. Marie Gillotti and Miss Wannetta Townsend, along with other members of Oakfield Senior Citizens, went on the fall foliage trip. The group enjoyed lunch at Rudie’s in Southwest Harbor and toured Bar Harbor where they saw a couple cruise ships in the harbor. They did some shopping at Reny’s in Ellsworth and Dollar Tree in Old Town. They also had ice cream in Old Town.
Others going included Mr. and Mrs. Dean Slauenwhite.
On Wednesday, Oct. 17, Mrs. Marie Gillotti and Miss Wannetta Townsend attended Senior Citizens at the Smoki-Haulers Snow Club in Oakfield.
