Rachael A. Wallace and Derrick A. Burbee, both of Presque Isle, were married Sept. 1, 2007 at Myrtle Tree Gardens in Presque Isle. Minister Barbara Burlock officiated the garden ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Presque Isle.
Rachael is the daughter of Pamela and Steven Easler of Presque Isle. She is a graduate of Presque Isle High School. She works for MMG Insurance as a customer service representative, and is the owner of Goddess Chocolates, a small confectionary business.
Derrick is the son of Junior and Penny Burbee of Presque Isle. He is a graduate of Presque Isle High School. He works for Wal-Mart as an associate.
Joanne Bagley, of Milford, attended the bride as maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Stephanie Easler of Fort Fairfield, cousin to the bride. Devin Cray, godson of the groom, of Presque Isle, was the ring bearer. Shawn Craig, friend of the groom, of Bridgewater, served as best man. The groomsman was Cary Gould of Presque Isle.
Music was provided by Stefanie Berube, harpist.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Perth-Andover, Canada and Bangor, and will continue to reside in Presque Isle.
