Vera M. Legassey

    ASHLAND – Vera M. Legassey, 83, died Oct. 27, 2007 at a Presque Isle hospital.  She was born in Ashland, Aug. 2, 1924, the daughter of Creighton and Lucy (Michaud) Kinney.      She is survived by four sons, Thomas Legassey of Hebron, CT, Dana and Larry Legassey both of Stockton Springs; James Legassey of Brewer; four daughters, Linda Gilman of Naples, Helen McKenna of Brewer, Vivian Larsen of Presque Isle and Betty Lovely of Homosassa, FL; 24 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Legassey in 1993.
    A graveside committal service will be held at the Ashland Municipal Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31.  Arrangements are a service of Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St.,  Ashland. To leave online condolences, please visit www.ouellettefuneralhome.com.
