The Presue Isle Fire Department responded to the following calls for the week ending Oct. 13, 2007:
Oct. 7
5:03 p.m. Engine 2, Tanker 1, Truck 4 and four firefighters responded to the Caribou Rd. to investigate smoke coming from a house. Oct. 8
10:42 p.m. Engine 2, Ladder 1, Engine 6 and 22 firefighters responded to Dyer St. for a structure fire with one person trapped on the second floor.
Oct. 12
1:02 a.m. Tanker 1 and four firefighters responded to Caribou to assist the Caribou Fire Department with a structure fire.
1:45 p.m. Engine 2, Ladder 1 and four firefighters responded to Wal-Mart for activation of a fire alarm.
Oct. 13
3:19 a.m. Engine 2 and two firefighters responded to Wal-Mart for a fire alarm.
3:50 p.m. Rescue 8 and two firefighters responded to the Fort Rd. to assist Crown Ambulance with a medical emergency.
7:58 p.m. Engine 2, Ladder 1 and four firefighters responded to Parsons St. for activation of a fire alarm.
