Nordic Walking Club
The Nordic walking club will meet every Tuesday at noon at noon at Gentile Hall at the University of Maine at Presque Isle until Dec. 18. Contact Melanie Stewart at 760-9500.
Winter Risks Workshop
Maine Winter Sports will host a managing winter risks workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Warren Miller’s “Playground”
The Northern Skiers Club will show “Playground,” a film about winter sports at the Caribou Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
Turkey Trot 5K
The annual Turkey Trot 5k will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24 starting at Caribou High School. Registration begins at 9 a.m., the race following at 10 a.m. For more information, contact Dan Harrigan at 498-3226.
PIHS season passes
PIHS athletics department announces that season passes for varsity basketball and ice hockey may be purchased at the athletic office beginning Monday, Nov. 5.
Prices follow: basketball only $30, ice hockey only $25 and combination $50.
