Claire N. Ouellette

    PRESQUE ISLE & VAN BUREN – Claire N. Ouellette, 57, died Nov. 3, 2007 at her Presque Isle residence and is now resting  with her Lord.  She was born in Van Buren, Nov. 8, 1949, the daughter of Prudent and Eva (Pelletier) Ouellette.     She was a 31 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 49 of Van Buren. Claire had resided in Presque Isle for the past five years where she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  
    She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Norma Jean and Terry Levesque of Presque Isle; three grandsons, Trevor, Tyler and Torey Levesque, all of Presque Isle; three sisters, Jeannine Grivois of Lecanto, FL, Bernice Lausier of Oakland, and Mildred Gervais of Van Buren; two brothers, Frank Ouellet of Benton and Donald Ouellet of Hamlin; one brother-in-law, Morris Pelletier of Arizona.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Jim, Ludger, and Raymond Ouellette; two sisters, Irene Pelletier and Viola Boucher.  
    Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, from 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday.  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church.
