CARIBOU – Robin Lynn (Simmons) Adams passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at her home in Caribou after a long illness with heart complications. Robin was born in Presque Isle to the late Robert (Bob) and Dawna (Fogg) Simmons on July 16, 1963. She grew up in Presque Isle and graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1982. She also graduated from Husson College in 1996. Prior to her illness she was employed at DFAS in Limestone.
Robin is survived by her husband Darrell of Caribou; her eldest son Seth Cleaves of Easton; her four little boys of Caribou, Nathaniel, Darrell, III, Christopher and Taylor; her mother and step-father Barbara (Gagnon) and Leighton Perkins of Mapleton; her sisters, Sonya Craig and her husband Carlton of Mars Hill; Linda Brewer of Presque Isle; Angela Franck and her husband Craig of St. Agatha; her brother Bob and his wife Laurie of Presque Isle; step-daughters Carli Cleaves and her husband Alan of Presque Isle; Sarah Adams of Mapleton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Robin will be missed tremendously by all that knew and loved her.
Robin was predeceased by her biological mother Dawna (Fogg) Simmons in 1969 and her father Robert (Bob) K. Simmons in 2001.
Her funeral was held on Wednesday, October 31 at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Caribou with the Rev. Ellen Cleaves, pastor, officiating. Interment took place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Caribou.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Gray Memorial United Women’s Group of Caribou. Arrangements were by Mockler Funeral Home.
