NMCC holds Pre-Election celebration

    NORTHERN MAINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE Student Senate President Patrick Beaulieu, second from right, uses a portable torch from NMCC’s welding and metal fabrication program to light a ceremonial torch during a pre-election rally at NMCC Monday, Nov. 5 to raise awareness for Questions 2 and 3 on the Nov. 6 ballot. The ceremonial torch was relayed across Presque Isle to the University of Maine at Presque Isle by NMCC students, faculty and staff and UMPI students and faculty. The torch was used Tuesday night to light a “bond” fire at UMPI.
