The East Grand Outdoor Education class led by instructors Scott Holmes and Dave Conley, recently took an overnight canoe trip on the St. Croix River where students put into practice numerous skills taught throughout fall classes.
Students not only learned numerous outdoor living skills, but they learned the importance of proper planning and wearing appropriate clothing when camping late in the season. The class has several outings planned throughout the school year including a 15-mile adventure race next spring.
