Jean M. Taylor

Taylor, Jean M., 80, November 24, 2007.  Arrangements by Brookings-Smith Funeral Home, Bangor.     Houlton-Bangor – Jean M. Taylor, 80, wife of the late Herbert “Bud” C. Taylor, died November 24, 2007,  after a brief illness, surrounded by her family. She was born in Houlton May 12, 1927, the daughter of Nathaniel and Kathleen (McKay) West.
    Surviving are five children, Kathy, Jim, Bob, Debbie and Andy; and their spouses Jason, Debbie and Tim; twelve grandchildren, Lisa Troppman, Kristie, Joe and Megan Taylor, Erin, Nate, Nick and Sarah Taylor, Ryan, Brianna, and Kassie Callahan and Heather Newman; five great grandchildren, Jillian Moran, David Pray, Mike Johnson, Cole Troppman and Stacey Newman; two sisters and their husbands, Winona and Jesse Cote of Brewer, Sarah and Roe Toothaker of Sabatus; a sister-in-law, Phyllis West of Houlton;  and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Jerimiah Taylor and Brandon Troppman and a brother Jerry West.
    Services were held  Saturday December 1, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, 46 Court St., Houlton. Gifts in memory of Jean may be sent to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 760, Houlton, 04730. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
