Friday, Nov. 21
7:41 a.m. High Street — Missing Juvenile — Female caller brought male juvenile, 14, with her to Presque Isle last night and dropped him off. She then went to school. He was not there when she was done, and she hasn’t heard from him since.     Action — Before caller drove to the police department to complete the form, she made contact with missing juvenile. She is all set.
1:20 p.m. Washburn Street — Assist Other Agency — Caribou Ambulance is responding to an eye injury.
    Action — Intoxicated female fell on the ice. Caribou Fire had concerns for her safety and transported her to the hospital for treatment and an evaluation.
    7:20 p.m. Sweden Street — Motor vehicle complaint — Report that a blue and white tractor trailer was driving on the wrong side of the road on South Main and at a high rate of speed on Sweden Street. Truck is at a local residence at this time.
    Action — Officer stopped truck on Rt. 161. Operator did not recall anything wrong on South Main, however, he did admit to going 35 mph on Sweden Street. Officer warned him about his driving.
8:10 p.m. Route 1 — Motor vehicle complaint — Female caller reporting a van traveling toward Caribou from Presque Isle all over the road, stuff being tossed out the window, and traveling at a high rate of speed.
    Action — Registered to female, 29, from Van Buren. Officer spoke with her, she denied anything coming out the windows. She stated she reached for her cell phone at one point and may have swerved. Advised her of the complaint and to be more cautious.
Saturday, Nov. 22

9 a.m.    Van Buren Road — Animal — 9-1-1 call advising that there is a horse running in the road by the intersection of the Van Buren and Belanger roads.
    Action — When officer arrived, the owner was retrieving the horse.
2:30 p.m. Washburn Street — Harassment — Female caller said that she is being harassed by text message, cell phone, and land line phone. She would like to see an officer.
    Action — Caller was unaware that she could receive text messages on her cell phone. Today her son was looking at her phone, and he saw a text message received Nov. 9 at 6:36 p.m. The message was about today (Nov. 9) being best friends day. Caller dialed one of the numbers within the message, and spoke to a female who laughed about it. The caller then dialed the number that forwarded her the message, and that person laughed and hung up. The caller said she is tired of being harassed. Officer spoke with first subject, and she believed the message was forwarded by accident. Caller was notified that it was a mistake.
6:23 p.m. Van Buren Road — Miscellaneous     — Caller advised that there are a bunch of boards in the road. Located approximately 12 boards in the road, and moved them out of the way of traffic.
Sunday, Nov. 23
7 a.m. Lyndon Street — Burglary, Theft — Caller said that sometime since 8 p.m. last evening someone broke into his apartment by busting in the front door. The lock is broken. Only thing he can find missing is his wallet. It only had a few dollars and some personal items in it. Damage is approximately $50.
9:24 a.m. Main Street — Motor vehicle complaint — Caller said that a motorist is giving him the finger and shaking his fist. Last seen on Bennett Drive.
    Action — When officers arrived vehicle was gone. Tracked down registration, driver’s father said subject has some “issues,” will try to locate him and speak with him.
12:29 p.m. High Street — Miscellaneous — Male caller dialed 9-1-1 stating that he was at a local bank and he was locked inside.
    Action — Officer checked at the bank, which was open, and the workers knew nothing about him. 9-1-1 advised the call came from another number. Officer notified 9-1-1 what he had found out.
9:20 p.m. High Street — Disorderly Conduct — Officer is on a call, and a female subject is there causing a problem and being disorderly.
    Action — Arrested for failure to submit to arrest and disorderly conduct.
Monday, Nov. 24
10:25 a.m. High Street — Harassment — Female caller said that her ex-boyfriend keeps harassing her by sending her text messages, and being around her apartment.
    Action — Officer tried to reach him at his apartment, but he would not come to the door. Will try again later. Officer located subject on Van Buren Road and gave him a written warning to have no contact with ex-girlfriend.
1:30 p.m. Jacobs Avenue — Harassment by Phone — Male caller said that he is being harassed by phone from his niece, who wants to know her grandfather’s phone number.
    Action — Officer explained that if she calls once it is not phone harassment. If she continues calling repeatedly, then it is considered harassment. Caller understood.
2:25 p.m. Vickers Drive — 9-1-1 Hang-Up — State Police received a 9-1-1 call, when they answered there was only static on the line. Checked, everything was fine, resident said she did not dial 9-1-1.
3:31 p.m. Jacobs Avenue — Burglary, theft — Female caller advised that sometime between Tuesday and Thursday someone came into her apartment and stole her jewelry. She has made a deal with the individual who pawned her items — rings and necklaces that are sentimental to her.
    Action — Waiting on statement for value. A female subject has told the caller that she had received her property from a male subject, who is said to be the burglar. Officer spoke with another female involved, 19, who stated that the property had been pawned. Charges may be pursued. Under investigation. Called Nov. 26 and advised that her jewelry had been returned.
6:22 p.m. High Street — Theft — Male caller advised he had a customer tell him that a female put three bottles of liquor in her bag. He advised the female is still in the store.
    Action — Were issued written warning and banned from the store.
Friday, Nov. 28
10:40 Access Highway — Trespass — Female caller reports that there are people taking washer and dryer out of a trailer that dos not belong to them, needs an officer to stop by.
    Action — Officer checked with caller, and evidently the people who rent the trailer are away but gave permission for the people there now to get the washer and dryer. Officer told caller to find out from the owners when they return. She has the names of the people who have the property.
1:00 p.m. Route 1 — Motor vehicle complaint — Female caller reporting a motor vehicle accident out front of her store.
    Action — Ambulance dispatched. Officer arrived at scene and reported Code K. Deceased at the scene was a male, 76.
1:19 p.m. Albair Road — Animal — Stray cat at residence looks sick. Paged animal control officer to contact her.
