After a stint in Room 250 without a regular math/science teacher, Elena Anderson has been added to the Houlton High School staff. Elena Anderson taught math and physics in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia before she moved to Canada. In a new country, she had to take courses to be a certified teacher. For this, she took two years of courses.
So now, with the new teacher in place, it seems the math/science department will finally be complete. Along with, of course, advisory.
“It is good to have a constant advisor now to get used to,” said Musa Bilal.
We agree Musa: amen to that.
