Caswell – Marjorie A. Campbell, 71, wife of the late Dean Campbell died March 15, 2008, at Presque Isle. She was born in Caswell August 29, 1936, the daughter of the late Elie and Meda (Labreck) King. Marjorie was employed as a nurses aid at the former Van Buren Hospital as well as Borderview Manor for a number of years. She was a member of St Josephs Catholic Church in Hamlin.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by two sons Larry Campbell of Caswell and Daniel Campbell of Limestone. One daughter Donita Campbell of Limestone. Two brothers Frederick King of Limestone and Ernest King of Van Buren, three sisters: Evangeline McLaughlin and her husband Clarence and Joyce Johnro and her husband Norman all of Limestone and Carol Leeman of Caswell, three grandchildren Sarah Campbell, Audrey Pictou and Mellissa St. Peter, one great-granddaughter Vanessa St. Peter and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew Patrick Lausier and two special nieces Casey and Kristin Bragg. Mrs. Campbell was predeceased by her husband Dean, one brother Helaire King and a grandson Forest Pictou.
A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hamlin with Fr. David Cote, officiating. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery Limestone.
