Thursday, March 13
1:33 p.m. Fontaine Drive — Snow Complaint — Male caller reported snow being plowed into the street causing it to be nearly impassable.     Action — An officer left a message for responsible party to contact him.
2:50 p.m. Route 1 — Motor Vehicle Complaint — A male reported seeing a vehicle traveling in the breakdown lane on Rt. 1 by a local business nearly causing an accident. Vehicle had continued north taking Fort Street turning south onto South Main St.
    Action — Officer located the vehicle at the owner’s residence. No one was home so officer left message on vehicle to contact the police department.
7:09 p.m. Main Street —Criminal Trespass — A female reported while at a friend’s residence she had called her home and a male subject had answered the phone, telling her she had the wrong number. Female went to her residence and found no signs of forced entry but the phone had been moved. She also had checked with family members and none of them had been there all day.
    Action — The female caller’s mother and owner of the residence called police and reported everything appeared to be fine and she didn’t think she needed an officer to respond. Officer told her to call if anything looked out of place.
Friday, March 14
6:47 p.m. Midland Street — Phone Harassment — Female caller reported a female subject was constantly calling her and would not stop.
    Action — Officer left message for subject and when she calls, she will be advised to cease calls.
7:15 p.n. Route 1 — Agency Assistance — Presque Isle police requested officers to watch for a red pickup as it had been involved in paintball incident at the Northern Maine Community College.
    Action — Officer checked Route 1, locating subject vehicle and occupants at a local business. Subjects were escorted to the Caribou/Presque Isle line where Presque Isle officer met them.
8:50 p.m. Rose Acres — Snowsled Complaint — A male caller reported a snowmobile had just come through his yard at a high rate of speed, running over his fence and continued up the roadway. Caller noted that this type of incident occurs every night between 8-9 p.m.
    Action — Policed contacted wardens who were working in the area and they will handle the issue.
Saturday, March 15
9:07 p.m. Bennett Drive — Motor Vehicle Complaint — An employee from a local business reported a group of juveniles in the parking lot and one of them had tried to drive his vehicle up the snowbank and is now stuck there.
    Action — Police sent about 20 teenagers on their way. Vehicle driver stuck on the snowbank was throwing a fit, hollering and screaming about being harassed. Subject was advised if another complaint were received he would be charged with disorderly conduct.
Sunday, March 16
1:28 p.m. Washburn Street — Domestic — A female requested another female subject be removed from her residence.
    Action — Subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Tuesday, March 18
4:23 a.m. Bennett Drive — Suspicious Activity — Caller reported a vehicle in a local parking lot with occupant who appeared to be passed out.
    Action — Officer checked on occupant who cleans buildings in area and was just trying to get some sleep.  
11:49 p.m. North Main Street — Suspicious Person — Female caller reported an individual in her house with a hammer and she didn’t know the subject.
    Action — After checking the residence and surrounding area, officers found nothing to indicate that anyone was or ever had been in the house. Caller was advised that she might be facing another charge of misusing 9-1-1 if these types of calls continued.
Wednesday, March 19
12:48 a.m. North Main Street — Animal at large — Female called 9-1-1 again this time stating there was a bear in her house.
    Action — Officer checked the residence and determined there was no bear or any other animal in the house. Caller was charged with misusing 9-1-1.
12:50 a.m. North Main Street — Animal— Same female caller again reporting a bear in the house.
    Action — Determined it was a fur coat.
3:20 a.m. Access Highway — Animals at large — Caller reported meeting three horses walking in the road on Route 89 by the underpass.
    Action — Police contacted animal owner to come and get them.
6:48 p.m. Bennett Drive — Snow Complaint — Female requested to speak with an officer regarding to her neighbor plowing snow against her house, as she was worried about water flooding into the basement this spring.
