Local student graduates from Castleton State College
    CASTLETON, Vt. – Steven Currier of Presque Isle graduated from Castleton State College in December 2007 with a bachelor of arts degree in social science.
Bentley College names local student to President’s List
    WALTHAM, Mass. – Robert D. Galliers, Bentley’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, and Catherine Davy, dean of arts and science, have recently named student Nathaniel White of Easton to the President’s List. White has achieved extraordinary academic achievement in the fall 2007 semester as a junior majoring in accountancy.
    To be named to the President’s List, a full-time student must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher with no course grade below 3.0 during the term.
