Spectacular Caribou Ski-Fest

To the editor:
    My daughters and I had the pleasure of attending the annual Ski-Fest spearheaded by the Maine Winter Sports Center, Cary Medical Center and The Northern Skiers Club. We had an absolute blast!     The ski jumps were exciting for all ages (including myself), there were skis available for people who did not have gear of their own, and the lunch was plentiful and nutritious. (Thank you to the cooks.) Watching videos on a wide screen projector of past festivals created a dining delight.
    Thank you to all of the volunteers for making so many local children’s weekend special! I highly recommend attending next year, if nothing else just to see the children’s eyes light up while playing games and taking the plunge on one of many finely crafted ski jumps.
