ImageMAPLETON – Harold S. Bagley, 77, died Wednesday morning April 2, 2008, at his residence in Mapleton. He was born in Castle Hill on July 11, 1930, the son of Stanley and Virginia (Ireland) Bagley.
    Harold served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1954. He worked most of his life as a self- employed carpenter. He was a life-long aviation enthusiast.
    He is survived by a son Dana Bagley and his wife Melodie of Morrill; three step-sons and their wives, Dan and Michelle Bagley of Ashburn, VA, Doug and  Sally Oliver of Tilton, NH, David and Valerie Bagley of Merrimack, NH; a brother, Bob Bagley and his wife Alta of Mapleton; a sister, JoAn Smiley and her husband Ron of Rehoboth, MA; twelve grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two special friends, Verney and Donna Dean of Mapleton.
    Relatives and friends called 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A graveside service will be held later this spring at Southside Cemetery, Mapleton. Condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
