Participants in the 2008 Little Miss and Jr. Miss Limestone Pageant recently held at the Limestone Community School
were, from left: Abagail Elliott, Amelia Roy, Taylor Devoe, 2008 Jr. Miss, Alexis Bell, 2007 Jr. Miss Daniele Pelkey, 2008 Little Miss Emily Michaud, 2007 Little Miss Chelsea Pelkey and Jordyn Hopkins. The young ladies modeled sport wear, showed off a wide variety of talents and certainly lit up the stage with smiles as they appeared in the party dress portion of the event. With the theme of the pageant ‘Dance Memories’, the young contestants rocked and rolled, did the Cha Cha Slide, the Macarena and a little Hokey Pokey during the special entertainment segments. Special guests during the event included members of the Northstar Twirlers.
First runner up to the Little Miss Limestone title was Taylor Devoe. For her talent Devoe performed a baton routine to “I Don’t Dance,” from ‘High School Musical”. Devoe Farms was the young contestant’s sponsor.
Junior Miss Limestone contestant Jordyn Hopkins entertained with a bit of the Blues Brother’s “Soul Man”, for her talent presentation.Her sponsor was Main Street Flour Co.
Capturing the title of Little Miss Limestone, 2008 was Emily Michaud. Here, she models her snazzy casual wear. Michaud was sponsored by Michaud Farms.
2008 Jr. Miss Limestone, Alexis Bell performed a ballet dance to “My Little Girl.” Sponsoring Bell was Madore Farms.
Daniele Pelkey, Junior Miss Limestone 2007, had all the right moves as she performed during the 2008 Little and Jr. Miss Pageant. Pelkey entertained the full house with a baton/dance routine to ‘Crockodile Rock.”
Abagail Elliott sang and signed to “Mary Had a Little Lamb” during the talent portion of the pageant. Her sponsor was Caldwell’s Auto LLC.
Amelia Roy was all business performing her vocal selection, “Best of Both Worlds,” Roy’s sponsor was Share Bear Day Care.
