Locke joins Katahdin Financial Services

    HOULTON — Jon Prescott, President and Chief Executive Officer of Katahdin Trust Company, announced that a long-time employee in the financial services industry, Cheryl C. Locke, a bank employee since May 2007, has joined the company’s affiliate, Katahdin Financial Services.  In her new capacity,  Locke will work with investment customers on a wide array of securities as well as life and health insurance strategies.
    Locke, a graduate of Southern Aroostook Community High School, completed a number of courses offered by the American Institute of Banking and attended the University of Augusta Outreach Center in Houlton.  
    She has her Series 6 and 63 securities licenses through UVEST Financial Services and brings to Katahdin Financial Services more than 16 years of banking experience.  Prior to joining Katahdin Financial Services, Locke had previously been employed with Peoples Heritage Bank.   
    She and her husband, Kevin, are residents of Oakfield. They have one son, Taylor.
