Friends and Needles Quilt Guild makes presentation of gift

PRESENTATION — On May 3, the Friends and Needles Quilt Guild presented Art and Dot Howell of the A.E. Howell Conservation Center and Spruce Acres Refuge in Amity with 21 tote bags, all custom-made by guild members. The bags, featuring photos of the animals living at the refuge, will be for sale at the center’s gift shop. The gift shop will also feature the works of the late Bill Silliker, an internationally-known wildlife photographer. The opening of the refuge will be announced in the near future.
