Julie Folsom, CPIW, CPCU, was named Insurance Woman of the Year 2008 by the Insurance Association of Greater Houlton, affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Woman (International). This award is given each year to the person who exemplifies what it means to belong to NAIW. This person takes an active role in participating in all aspects of the group and with these opportunities continues to grow both personally and professionally.
Folsom has been a member of NAIW for 23 years and has been in the insurance industry for 32 years. She has served as IAGH’s treasurer for many years and her work is always exceptional. She has also served on various committees and volunteered time to the organization’s commitments.
She resides in Houlton with her husband Peter and son Chris.
