Cocheran, Regina G., 94, Caribou, in Caribu, May 28, 2008. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

    Caribou – Regina G. “Daisy”  Cocheran, 94, wife of the late Donald B. Cocheran died May 28, 2008, at Caribou surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. She was born in Caribou August 5, 1913, the daughter of Frank and May (Crawford) Levesque. She was employed by the Birds Eye Division of General Foods and American Kitchen for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Cocheran was a longtime active member of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women’s group. She loved sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, flowers, baking, raising her pet birds and was an avid puzzle solver. Regina’s biggest love was her family and spending time with all of them during holidays and birthdays.
    She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; Roland Dale and Nancy Cocheran of Caribou and Keith W. and Joyce Cocheran of Lakeland, Fl. Her daughter, Betty Ennis of Caribou. Ten special grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Regina is also survived by a special niece, Avis Armstrong of Bangor and several nieces and nephews. She will also  be fondly remembered by her many special friends at Farmview Estates and her church. Mrs. Cocheran was predeceased by her husband Donald, five brothers, Raymond, Otis, Hubert, Charles, and Simon Levesque. Four sisters Madeline “Sissy” McDougal, Beatrice Collins, Inez Whitneck and Lena Devoe.
    Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008, from the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Anna Beach, officiating. Interment took place in the Evergreen Cemetery.
