The Aroostook Riders ATV Club will hold various activities through the month of June.
On June 14, a “Progressive Meal” Ride is scheduled. Riders will meet for breakfast at Westford Hill at 9:30 a.m., as donuts and coffee will be served.
The ride will then go to Roger Blake’s campground for lunch, followed by ride to the Mill Pond Dairy bar. Members can purchase their own dessert or ice cream.
The Military Street Baptist Church Christian Sportsmen’s Fellowship (CSF) will sponsor its third annual Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 28, rain or shine.
The derby is held on Military Street behind the former Drake’s Dairy Bar site from 8:30-10:30 a.m. for youth ages 14 and under. The fishing derby is free, but anglers are asked to pre-register by calling Blaine Nickerson at 532-3903, MAC’s Trading Post at 532-9700 or Military Street Baptist Church at 532-2783. An adult must accompany all youth.
