RICHARDS, Audrey J., 76, Presque Isle; in Madawaska, June 16, 2008. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the Grant Memorial Methodist Church, Presque Isle. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the church reception area. A private interment will be in Perth, N.B., Canada. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

 

    PRESQUE ISLE – Audrey J. Richards, 76, died Monday morning June 16, 2008, at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Perth-Andover, N.B. Canada on August 9, 1931, the daughter of Archie and Isla (Walker) Henderson. Image
    Audrey worked for a number of years as a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co. and as a school bus driver for SAD#1. She was an avid motorcyclist, loved Harley motorcycles, and was a founding member of the Pine State Motorcycle Club and a life member of the American Motorcycle Association. She loved the outdoors, liked to travel, loved music and played the fiddle, and the guitar, and enjoyed her cats and dogs. Audrey was a member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.
    She is survived by two sons and their wives, Mark and Lynn Richards of Whitefield, Todd and Candy Richards of Caswell; a brother, Hazen Henderson of Presque Isle; three grandchildren, Scott and Andy of Whitefield, and Cindy of Portland.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the Grant Memorial Methodist Church Fleetwood St. in Presque Isle with the Rev. David Williams officiating. A reception will held immediately following the service in the church reception area. A private interment will be in Perth N.B. Canada. Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
