Patrick Blackstone visits DC; meets with Sen. Collins

    Sen. Susan Collins and Patrick Blackstone discuss their Caribou roots during the recent annual Middle School Band Concert at Hodgkins Middle School in Augusta, which traveled to Washington, D.C. in April to participate in the Cherry Blossom Festival.
Following a visit to the senator’s office Collins gave the band members a tour of the U.S. Capitol. Collins was the guest of honor at the band’s final performance. Blackstone is the son of the Rev. Dr. Thomas L. Blackstone and Lynn G. Blackstone of Augusta, and the grandson of Vernon A. and K. Judith Blackstone of Caribou.
