Voters in Stockholm will vote this afternoon for new town officials.     Resident will then meet at 7 p.m. at the former school to consider the town’s annual business.
In balloting, David Sterris is running unopposed for re-election to a three-year term on the Board of Selectman.
No one took out nomination papers for a three-year term on the Stockholm School Committee, which is being vacated by Robert Sprague.
Emilie Martin is running unopposed for re-election as the town clerk and treasurer for one-year terms.
Martin said earlier this week that expenses are expected to increase in the areas of the highway department, from $45,000 to $51,000; the fire department, from $12,0000 to $16,000; and the amount raised for roads and bridges from $20,000 to $25,000.
Voting will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. at the town office.
A school validation vote on the education budget will be held on Monday, June 30 at the town office.
