Low cost, free meals available for kids

    Central Aroostook ARC’s Child Development Center announces its participation in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program.     Free and reduced price meals are available to children meeting the approved eligibility criteria, at an additional charge as follows:
    The charge for a lunch or supper shall not exceed 40 cents;
    The charge for a breakfast shall not exceed 30 cents; and
    The charge for a snack shall not exceed 15 cents.
    Children on TANF, Food Stamps or FDPIR households; or are (only) Federal Head Start participants are automatically eligible to receive “free” meals.
    Meals are available to all enrolled participants without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap.
