LIMESTONE – Stanley A. Van Der Wende, 54, died June 25, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1953 in Paterson, New Jersey the son of the late Howard and Mildred Van Der Wende. After high school, Stanley graduated from college with a degree in accounting and was last employed at DFAS as an accountant. He was well known at the Limestone DFAS community and will be sadly missed by all.
He is survived by two daughters to whom he was a loving father: Amy Lambdin and her husband Anthony of Ada, Ohio, Nicole Van Der Wende of Bangor, two brothers: James P. Van Der Wende and his wife Nancy of Leonardtown, Maryland, Richard P. Van Der Wende of Centreville, MD, four nieces, and the very special love of his life Susan Marsh of Limestone.
