Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum raffles replica of a 1956 Chevrolet farm truck

    This replica of a 1956 Chevrolet farm truck at left, with a custom potato-barrel body was handcrafted by Jim Chandler.
The 1/16 scale model features real wood planking on the deck, a working Trombley-style barrel hoist and  functional three-point grapples. This unique model, which took Chandler 150 hours to complete also has realistic chains and hooks, 38 handmade potato barrels, a 235 cubic inch “Stovebolt six”, ignition wires and a fuel pump. Raffle tickets are currently available for anyone wishing  a chance to win this item, all proceeds from this raffle (only 600 tickets to be sold) will go toward the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum campaign fund.
