ISLAND FALLS — It’s time to begin thinking about this year’s Island Falls Summerfest pageant. Young women and boys and girls are encouraged to participate. Applications will be taken after July 14 for the pageant. There are several categories for ages birth up to 5 years old for both boys and girls, as well as for Miss categories ages 6 to 18 years old.
Those who are interested in signing up can pick up an application at Jerry’s, Island Falls One Stop, Bishop’s Market or at the Island Falls Town Office. Sponsor fees and application should be brought to the first practice on July 15. There are two other rehearsal dates after the 15.
