Easton residents welcome summer guests

Visitors
Elizabeth and Larry Shaw of Gainsville, Fla., spent two weeks recently, at a cottage at Echo Lake, in Presque Isle, from where they were able to take care of some business and visit with some friends.

They called on Clair and Eldora Carter for a short visit and on friend and former neighbor, Hilda Langley. They also enjoyed driving around the area to look at all the changes taking place since they were here last. The Shaws did attempt to visit the United Methodist Church service on Sunday but found that this was the Sunday that the Easton church joined with the Mars Hill church for services for the next few weeks.
Young Amanda Palmer, daughter of Mark and Terry Palmer, of Presque Isle, spent a couple of days recently with her former babysitter, Phyllis Nadeau. Phyllis is sort of ‘grammy’ to all the little ones she has taken care of.
