Caribou – Edward F. Skwarka, 52, husband of Donna (Blodgett) Skwarka, died July 30, 2008 at Bangor. He was born at Jersey City, NJ, April 3, 1956, the son of Edward A. and Frances (Sweeney) Skwarka. He served with the US Army from 1974 to 1976. He loved being around his family and friends, playing playstation.
He is survived by his wife Donna of Caribou, a son Clint Skwarka of TN; two daughters Cathy and Jennifer Skwarka both of TN; two sisters Diane Skwarka of VA and Frances Skwarka of NJ; three grandchildren; two step-daughters Marie Thompkins and Heather Blodgett both of Easton.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2008, from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating. Interment took place in the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Caribou. For online registery, please go to www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
