SURVIVAL – A group of teens return swimming off a barren island in the middle of East Grand Lake. Seven teens were dropped  off in the middle of the lake to swim to the island, with just a few basic survival items such as clothing, a piece of plastic, a couple granola bars and flint. The overnight trip was part of a 10-day experience with Camp Living Waters, and had teens as far away as Florida taking part in the program. The program also included hiking at Mt. Katahdin, whitewater canoeing,  night hike and a bush whack (an off trail hike with map and compass).
