    Parkton, North Carolina – Louis Ray Prosser, 62, died August 5, 2008, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.
    A native of Houlton, ME, Mr. Prosser was engaged in providing Pastoral Services in the St. Pauls, NC community and he was active in the New Hope Gospel Church.
    He is survived by his sisters, Nancy Barton and her husband David and Lorraine Wilson of Houlton, ME; Brenda Gregoire and her husband Ron of Waterville, ME; brothers, Elwood Prosser and his wife Charlotte of Cusetta, Alabama; Michel Prosser and his wife Jeannie, Paul Prosser and his wife Lori, Conrad Prosser and his wife Pam and Danny Prosser and his wife Shannon, all of Houlton, ME; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa L. Prosser; parents, Naomi and Ralph Prosser; and brother, Steven Prosser.
    A Memorial Service was held Saturday August 9, 2008 at New Hope Gospel Church in St. Pauls, NC. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home.
